SALIL RANADIVE is a brilliant professional with an architect’s mind and an artist’s soul. His creations are expressions of pure art while being grounded in the realities that architecture and construction demand. At his firm CHINAI:RANADIVE:ASSOCIATES (CRA), the homes he creates are masterpieces and come alive in the settings where he builds them. It is his belief - about approaching any project “holistically” as an exercise in Space Planning & Design that speaks one “language”, without compartmentalizing it into Interior Design, Landscape Design, Environment design, etc. - that has seen him deliver landmark projects time and again.
It is the very principles that drive Salil’s work that have come to the fore while creating Baner 5. After spending weeks understanding the challenges of creating an offering for discerning individuals, Salil’s artistic vision steadily took shape. It has been his single-minded focus of developing residences that are the epitome of luxury that has driven the creation of 5. No stone has been left unturned, literally and metaphorically while taking advantage of the unique context 5 offered - in terms of its location, topography and local climate.
Baner 5 is as much about extravagant customization as it is about customized extravagance. Never before have homes been built with such care around the homeowner’s needs and taste. Creating Baner 5 was a challenge and a delight at once for me as a student & teacher of architecture and as a professional architect and it has been worth its while.
